One of the underlying principles of the Law of Attraction is that our existence can be as easy or as hard as we make it. That may be hard to hear if you’re doing it tough at the moment. But the truth is that while we may not be able to control what happens to us, we can control how we let things make us feel.
Keeping a positive attitude at work is sometimes pretty difficult, especially if you’re in a job you hate. Or if your colleagues are not nice to you. Or if your boss is demanding. There are a lot of things that can make your work life miserable if you let them. The thing is… you always have a choice.
Will you let adversity sink you? Or will you keep a strong, positive mindset?
If you’re having a hard time at your job, there are some things you can do to make your life a bit easier.
Here’s some advice on how to keep a positive attitude at work.
Positivity and the Law of Attraction
Our beliefs and subconscious programming determine how we react to everything that happens to us. This includes our attitudes in the daily grind (i.e. work).
The Law of Attraction can work with any aspect of our lives, including how we perceive our work conditions and environment. Sadly, there comes times when the negativity and stress can get to us so much that it becomes a major concern. After all, our stress levels can have an effect on our mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.

There are some practices that a follower of the Law of Attraction can do to keep a positive attitude at work. Some of the best suggestions are positive visualization before going to work, breathwork, surrounding yourself with positivity, using focusing tools, and journaling to start and end the day right.
Let’s take a deeper look.
Positive Visualization At the Start of the Day
As you know, visualization is at the core of manifesting using the Law of Attraction. If you start the day with a positive mental picture, you are effectively “charging” yourself with positive energies. Remember, your attitude is generally based on your emotions. And what is emotion but “energy in motion”?
You can accomplish this early morning positive visualization by taking 5 to 10 minutes to meditate.
Before you leave for work, sit in a quiet place and close your eyes. Picture yourself and how your work hours will go. But instead of dreading the drama, instead imagine the best scenarios that can happen.
Perhaps you could visualize being appreciated by your superiors for your performance. Or you could imagine yourself receiving a raise or a promotion. Add spoken affirmations such as “I am appreciated at work” or “my work is stress-free”. Use words that make you feel a spark of pleasure.
Tailor what you visualize to your specific workplace, and the people within it. You will carry higher frequency emotions throughout the work day… and you’ll probably be surprised at how much lighter you feel.

Breathwork
One simple way to keep a positive attitude at work using the Law of Attraction is through breathwork. Breathing is another fundamental practice for manifestation. Breathing is the first and last thing we do in our living existence in this dimension. Breath is life-giving and nourishing.
It even has a direct effect on our physiological state – slowing down our breathing is linked to inhibited inflammation, lowered heart rate, and even better concentration and memory recall. When you think about it, every organ in our body is affected by our breathing. It also is directly linked to our nervous system, or ‘fight or flight’ instinct. When we’re breathing in a controlled and deep way, it triggers our parasympathetic nervous system to relax the body.
So whenever you feel stressed at work, focus on breathing deeply and slowly. Breathe deep for 3 seconds and hold. Then breathe out and hold for 3 seconds. Think of it as a square, where each side takes 3 seconds. Do this for a minute. Practicing this daily will produce amazing results for you in keeping your positive attitude at work.

Surround Yourself with Positive Images and Messages
While the suggested practices mentioned so far are great for those who already have some experience with Law of Attraction concepts, those who are just starting may find them a bit challenging. One way to ease in if you’re new to manifestation using the Law of Attraction is by using material methods. I’m talking about notes, pictures, and messages that trigger good feelings.
Pictures have been found to influence our mood. Studies have found that pleasure parts of the brain light up when someone is looking at pictures of family or beloved pets. Even landscape and nature images have been found to have a calming effect on the brain. This helps both our conscious and subconscious mind cope with stresses at work.
So keep a picture of your family next to your desk if you can. Make a collage of images that make you happy and set it as your computer screensaver. Try to make your work area include some reminders of things that make you feel happy.
Also, there is a concept within the Law of Attraction around “speaking what you want into being”. You can put this concept into action by writing yourself positive notes, messages and reminders of the things in life that make you feel good. Use Post-Its with handwritten positive messages. Place them in areas where you can easily see them. If you work in a cubicle, place these on your computer screen or at the top of your desk. Handwritten positive messages can also help in programming your emotional and mental state.
Use Focusing Tools
Beyond writing down positive messages that you can see in your workplace, you can take it a bit further by using other focusing implements too. Focusing tools can come in various shapes and sizes. These can also vary depending on your personal tastes.
An easy example of using positive focusing tools is placing pictures that make you happy. Family and loved ones are common, but you could also use other images like your favorite vacation pic or your dream house.
Another option for positive focusing tools is placing crystals around you. Many Law of Attraction proponents swear by the effectiveness of crystals as a “tuning” focus to align your vibrations. Crystals by their very nature resonate with life. Amethyst, Black Tourmaline, and Rose Quartz are very popular choices used at work. These crystals have a resonance that transmutes low vibration emotions like anxiety and stress into higher vibrations of happiness and love.
They don’t have to be enormous – just a small, stone-sized crystal can be a great help as you can pick it up and hold it when you feel yourself succumbing to negativity.
Journaling
Keeping a journal of your daily activities can also help you keep a positive attitude toward work. Choose a journal with a color that brings a sense of happiness to you. Sky blue and rose pink are common choices. Then, create a record of what your experiences are at work on a given day.
However, it is important to note that you should write the events down in a positive light. This does not mean to limit it to your hopes and aspirations. What it entails is seeking the positive angles to the things you encounter during your work day. For example, do not write that you got angry that John from accounting failed to note your reimbursement so that it is delayed. Instead, jot it down as a good thing that the error was detected so you have the reimbursement coming in the future.
Reframing events in a positive way helps to train your mind to seek positivity instead of getting stuck in the quagmire of depression. It also helps attract positive Universal energy – you may find that good things start to come your way after a very short time.
Keeping a Positive Attitude at Work is Important!
We spend a lot of our time at work, so it’s important to make that time as positive as we possibly can. Life’s too short to spend hating your time spent on this planet.
Sure, sometimes things will get you down. But the more you practice the methods outlined here in this article, the more your mindset and emotions will start to align with a more positive vibe. And the better you’ll feel!
